Author : Nagare Satyanarayan Nathaji and Dr. Suresh Kumar
Abstract
Subsequent study delves into specific ecocritical perspectives, including Deep Ecology, which advocates for a profound shift in human responsibility towards nature; Social Ecology, which connects social issues with environmental degradation; and Ecosophy, Ecocide, and Ecofeminism, which explore ecological philosophy and destruction. Ecological degradation, human separation from nature, bio-centric vs. anthropocentric values and ideals, and the consequences of unchecked industrialization are common topics covered in environmental literature.
